Renault have revealed pictures of the fourth generation Clio ahead of its debut at the Paris Motor Show in September.
The new Clio will only be available in five door form with concealed rear door handles in the C-pillars to give a more sportier look. The new model has a lower ride height, flared front and rear arches.
The front end of the new Renault Clio features a prominent Renault badge set into a gloss black backround grille and complimented with chrome edged headlights and LED daytime running lights.
The Clio will be the first model to feature Renaults new three cylinder petrol turbocharged TCe 90 engine. This will be the first three cylinder engine produced by Renault. The 0.9 litre engine will see fuel consumption of 65.7mpg with 99g/km of CO2 emissions.
Also available will be a four-cylinder 1.2-litre TCe 120 petrol engine and a 1.5-litre dCi 90 diesel engine. The most economical Clio in the range will be fitted with the diesel engine and is expected to return 88mpg with CO2 emissions at 83g/km.
Dynamique models and upwards will feature Renault's R-Link multimedia system which provides a bridge between the car and the connected world outside. With a wide seven-inch touchscreen, and a personalised home screen where customers are able to download apps for their car.
