Honda have been revealed as the most reliable car brand within the UK for the seventh year in a row. The survey conducted by WhatCar and Warrenty Direct for car failure rates between three and five years old.

Also in the top five most reliable car brands are Toyota, Lexus, Suzuki and Subaru and all being Japanese companies.
 
     
South Korean carmaker Hyundai managed sixth place shared jointly with the Japanese carmakers Mazda and Mitsubishi.

Owners of Honda's have a 1 in 10 chance of a break down in any given year while bottom of the pile is LandRover that suffer a 7 in 10 chance of a breakdown.
